⚠️ Important: Most Epson TM30 v3 models do not include built-in Wi-Fi. A compatible Wi-Fi dongle must be purchased and installed separately to enable wireless functionality.
📡 Network Configuration Requirements
For LAN or Wi-Fi setups, you’ll need to assign a Static IP Address to your printer.
OR use DHCP Reservations provided by your network administrator.
We recommend preparing either a Static IP or a Static IP Range for your network printer(s) before setup.

This guide walks you through connecting your Epson TM30 v3 printer directly to a workstation (L1400 or Elo Kiosk) using the provided USB cable. This setup is ideal for printing customer receipts directly from a single POS device.

🔧 Step-by-Step Setup:

Connect the USB Cable
- Plug the USB B end of the cable into the back of the printer.
- Plug the USB A end into an available USB port on your L1400 hub or Elo Kiosk hub.
- Plug the USB B end of the cable into the back of the printer.

Power On the Printer
- Turn on the printer using the power button on the front.
- Turn on the printer using the power button on the front.

⚠️ If the printer doesn’t power on immediately:
- Press and hold the power button.
- Double-check all cable connections to ensure they are properly seated.
- Press and hold the power button.
Note: Once the printer is successfully connected to the workstation, you will be prompted to “Allow the printer to connect/open to Shift4 Venue App.” You should select OK or YES.

- Open the Shift4 Venue App on your L1400 or Elo device.
- Tap the Hamburger Menu (☰) in the top left corner.
- Navigate to Configuration and follow the steps in the GIF below.

Auto Print Receipt
Automatically prints a paper receipt when a transaction is completed.

Print 2 Copies
(Only available if Auto Print is enabled)
Prints two copies of the receipt upon order completion.

After setup, perform a test sale and ensure the receipt prints successfully. This confirms that the printer is connected and functioning properly.
