Overview

The Loyalty Report is designed to give venue operators clear visibility into sales activity generated when customers scan their Shift4 Venue Wallet QR Code. This report helps you understand how your loyalty program is performing by breaking down transactions by loyalty member, affiliation, discount usage, and integrator.

Navigating to the Report

The Loyalty Report can be found within the reports section of DataNow. Once opened, the dashboard defaults to displaying data for today's date.

Dashboard Filters

Before diving into the report sections, it is important to understand the available filters. These allow you to narrow down the data to exactly what you need.

Report Sections

The Loyalty Report is organized into four key sections, each providing a different level of detail about your loyalty activity.

1. QR Scan KPIs

What it shows: This section sits at the top of the dashboard and provides a high-level summary of loyalty performance for the selected filters. Think of it as your at-a-glance scorecard.

Metrics Included:

MetricDescription
Loyalty OrdersTotal number of orders placed where a loyalty QR code was scanned
Loyalty MembersTotal number of unique loyalty members who scanned during the period
Net DiscountsTotal value of discounts applied to loyalty transactions
Amount SettledTotal dollar amount settled from loyalty-driven transactions

How to use it: Use this section to quickly assess the overall impact of your loyalty program for any given day, event, or date range. Compare Loyalty Orders and Amount Settled to gauge how much revenue is being driven by loyalty members versus the total discount value being offered.

2. Sales by Loyalty Member and Affiliation

What it shows: This table breaks down sales performance at the individual loyalty member level, including their affiliation. It is sorted by Loyalty Orders in descending order, so your most active members appear at the top.

3. Sales by Loyalty Member and Integrator

What it shows: This table is similar to the member and affiliation view above, but adds an additional layer of detail by including the Integrator — the point-of-sale or ordering system through which the transaction was processed. It is sorted by Loyalty Orders in descending order.

Columns Included:

  • Use in combination with the Integrator filter to focus on a specific ordering channel
  • Helpful for venues with multiple food & beverage operators or ordering systems to understand loyalty activity by vendor

Tips & Best Practices

  • 📅 Always set your date range first. The Calendar Date filter is required and all other filters are influenced by it.
  • 🔄 Combine filters to get the most granular view — for example, filtering by both Affiliation and Discount Name to see how a specific group is using a particular promotion.
  • 📊 Row totals are displayed at the bottom of each table, giving you a quick aggregate view without needing to export.
  • 💳 Payment Status defaults to Settled and Refunded transactions. If you need to include other statuses, adjust this filter accordingly.
