Pair a Bluetooth Receipt Printer in Shift4 Venue

Description: Learn how to pair and connect the Star Micronics TSP100IIIBI Bluetooth receipt printer (model number 39472110) with your iPad. Once paired, the printer will auto-connect whenever it is powered on and in range.

Pairing Bluetooth devices identifies them to each other and establishes a bond that allows future connections without repeating authentication.

The TSP100IIIBI printer comes with auto-connect enabled. After pairing, the printer automatically connects when powered on and within Bluetooth range of the iPad.

Steps

1. Connect the printer to a power source.

2. On your iPad, open the Settings app.

3. Select Bluetooth.
   

4. Under Other Devices, locate the printer. It appears as TSP100-XXXXX or Star Micronics.

5. Select the printer name to begin pairing.
   

6. Wait until the printer moves to the My Devices list and shows Connected next to its name.

Note: Once paired, the printer automatically connects when turned on and in range—no need to repeat the pairing process.
