Description: The L1400 workstation needs to be configured to “Customer Facing Display POS” on the “Select Device Type” screen within the Configuration menu. If this is incorrectly set to “Concessions POS” or “Kiosk”, then an undesired "Please Configure POS" notification will appear.
To correct this behavior, the device type will need to be updated on the L1400.
Steps to Resolve:
- On the L1400, log into the VN app and input your Passcode.
- Select the hamburger menu in the upper left corner.
- Select the Configuration option.
- Input a Manager Pin.
- On the Select Menu screen, click the Back button at the bottom of the page.
- On the Select Device Type screen, select Customer Facing Display POS, then click Next.
- Select the appropriate menu and click Next.
- Select the appropriate Receipt Printer option and click Next.
- Input your Passcode, and click Sign In.
- The L1400 and A3700 should now be properly configured, and you can confirm with the merchant that the above behavior has been resolved.
