This guide will walk you through how to manually register Shift4 Venue hardware. This step is important when receiving new or replacement devices to ensure your Shift4 Venue App is properly linked to your organization and venue.

βœ… Once completed, your device will display the correct Revenue Centers and Menus set up in Canopy 2.0.


πŸ“± Device Registration Process

  1. On the workstation, launch the Shift4 Venue App.
  2. A QR code will appear on the screen.
  3. Use your phone to scan the QR code and open the registration webpage.

πŸ” Logging into Canopy

  1. Log in to your Canopy account.
    • If you're unsure of your login credentials, please contact your account manager or venuesupport@shift4.com for assistance.

🏒 Select Your Organization & Venue

  1. After logging in, choose your Organization and Venue.
    • πŸ” Important: If you manage multiple venues, be sure to select the correct home location for this specific device.
  2. Click Register.

βœ… Finalize Registration

  1. Return to the workstation screen.
  2. Click Done to complete the registration process.
