What are Loaded Tickets?

Loaded Tickets are event tickets that include a prepaid value. This value can be redeemed for food, beverage, or merchandise within the venue.

Load Tickets in the Wallet

Once enabled, the Load Tickets button appears on the Wallet home screen. Users can:

  1. Load tickets linked to their Tickets.com account
    These are automatically associated based on the user’s Tickets.com login.

  2. Manually enter ticket numbers not yet on their account

User Experience Details

  • Tickets become eligible for loading 60 minutes before the Access Control Start Time.

  • Users can select specific tickets to load if they have multiple tickets for the same event.

  • Once loaded, ticket value cannot be transferred or reloaded by another user.
    Note: Users must confirm disclaimers warning that loaded ticket value is non-transferable. Tickets should only be loaded if the user does not plan to transfer them.

  • Unused funds expire at 3:00 a.m. the day after the event.

Special Cases

Doubleheaders:
If a fan holds tickets for both games of a doubleheader, only tickets for the first game are shown initially. The second set becomes available 60 minutes before its respective Access Control Start Time.

Stolen Loaded Tickets:
If a loaded ticket is reported stolen:

  • An administrator can use the Shift4 Venue Loyalty app to credit the rightful ticket owner.

  • System data will show who originally loaded the ticket.

  • Optional: Administrators can deduct the loaded value from the unauthorized user’s balance.

Manually Entered or Guessed Ticket Numbers:

  • The same resolution process applies if someone manually loads a ticket using a guessed number.

Enable Tickets.com Loaded Tickets

  • Contact your Shift4 Venue account manager to enable this feature.

  • Contact your Tickets.com representative to set up the Loaded Value Barcode feed.
