Available in POS version 2.57 and higher, this feature allows tabs to be transferred from one attendant to another.
- Manager approval is required
- Tabs can be transferred to any active attendant or manager for the venue
- Sale and gratuity from the transferred tab will be attributed to the attendant receiving the transfer in reporting
- The recipient will now see the tab when viewing "My Open Tabs" or "My Closed Orders" from the orders list
- The transferred tab will still be accessible to all logged in attendants when viewing “All Orders”
Tabs can be transferred on an offline terminal only if the tab has never been accessed or managed from an online terminal (i.e. tab has not been synced to the database)
To Transfer a Tab:
- Start a tab with or without payment
- Select the tab that you would like to transfer
- From the tab details, tap "Transfer Tab"
- Search for the attendant and select their name
- Tap "Transfer Tab"
- Enter a valid Manager PIN
