Shift4 Venue POS: Menu Favorites

Supported on POS version 2.52 and higher, this feature allows POS users to add items to a “Favorites” category on a device by long pressing the item button. 

• Favorited items will now appear in a "Favorites" category, which will become the default category upon logging in
• Favorited items will be persisted on a device until the app storage is cleared
• If an item has been favorited, it can be unfavorited by long pressing again
• The menu will now be filtered by the selected category
  • When searching within a category filter, only the selected category will be searched
  • You can still see the full catalog of items by navigating to the “All” category, which will be the default category if there are no favorites
