Place an Order in Shift4 Venue

Description: Learn how to place an order in Shift4 Venue, including how to select item modifiers, apply discounts, and complete the payment process.

Place an Order

Add Items

1. Select any item tile to add it to the cart.

2. The cart total updates automatically.

Modify Items

1. Items with modifiers open a detail panel.

2. Select required or optional modifiers.

   • Required modifiers must be selected before the item can be added (e.g., pizza size).

   • Optional modifiers can be selected as requested (e.g., extra cheese).

3. After selecting the appropriate modifiers, select Add to Cart.

Adjust Quantities

• Select the item in the cart → change the quantity → select Update.

Remove Items

• Select the X next to the item, or select Clear Cart to remove all items.

Apply Discounts

1. Select the plus icon next to Discounts.

2. Choose a discount.

3. Select Apply Discounts.

Complete the Order

• Choose a payment method from the bottom-left:

  • Tenders, Cash, and Card options are available.

View the Order Summary

• After payment, an order summary with the order number appears.
