Shift4 Venue POS: Discounts with Manager Approval

Supported in POS version 2.51 and higher, operators can now configure manual discounts applied on the POS to require manager approval.

To Configure a Discount to Require Manager Approval

1. Go to Canopy 1.0 > Discounts
2. Scroll to Redemption section
3. Toggle on "Requires Manager Approval"
4. Tap Update Discount to save change

To Apply a Manager Approved Discount on POS

1. From the tender select screen (for tabs) or cart tap Add Discount
2. If one or more discounts selected require manager approval, the POS will prompt for a Manager PIN
