Description: Learn how to register and display the customer-facing Order Status Board (OSB) on any device using a supported web browser.
Before You Begin
Use Google Chrome or another Chromium-based browser, version 74 or higher, for best performance.
Navigate to the Order Status Board URL
Open the browser or web display settings on your device and go to:
https://[instance_name]-board.ordernext.com
Replace [instance_name] with the subdomain of your Ordernext webpage. For example, if your Ordernext URL is example.ordernext.com, your OSB URL will be https://example-board.ordernext.com.
Register the Device
The registration screen will load.
Note: Background colors may vary depending on your organization's branding settings.
Scan the QR code using any smartphone.
Follow the prompt to open the registration page.
Log in using your Canopy account.
Select your organization and venue, then select Submit.
You should see a message that says Device successfully registered!
Note: If you receive a permission error, request access to the Devices app by emailing venuesupport@shift4.com.
Choose a Location
Once registration is successful, the OSB browser automatically refreshes and displays a list of available locations.
Select the location you want to display.
You will be redirected to the home Order Status Board screen.
Note: The home screen is blank by default. To display a custom message or logo, email your request to venuesupport@shift4.com.
