How to Create and Express Pickup Menu

 

This article will walk through the steps to create an Express location in Canopy.

 

Step 1:

Go to F&B → Location Management

Step 2:

Select  to add a new location

 

Step 3:

Fill in the required fields

 

 

Step 4:

Check the box for the correct Menu Type

 

 

Step 5:

Scroll back to the top of the page and select   on the top right corner.

NOTE: Don't forget to configure your Shift4 Merchant to set up Mobile Ordering payments. Please follow THIS article to learn more about Merchants.

 

 

Step 6:

This will be the next landing page, on the left panel under F&B select Locations

Step 7:

Select the Service Type menu

Step 8:

Make sure the correct service type is selected in the drop down menu if that location has more than one service type. This example has 4 service types: Concessions (Express), Delivery, POS, and Kiosk. It is important to have the correct service type selected before making any changes to the settings.

 

 

 

Step 9:

Make sure the Express menu settings are correct after selecting the correct service type in drop-down by going to Menus → Settings

 

Step 10:

Scroll down to Stand Menus

 

Step 11:

Expand the settings for Stand Menus and find Concessions Orders Usage Type & Concessions Menus Usage Type and make sure they are both set to PICKUP

 

Step 12:

Scroll up to POS/Xpedite

 

Step 13:

Expand the settings for POS/Xpedite and find Skip POS Submission and make sure it is set to YES

 

Next, find Skip POS Submission State and make sure it is set to Processing (must be exactly as shown below, with first letter being lower case with no added spaces or indentations)

 

Step 14:

Scroll down to Orders

 

 

Step 15:

Expand the settings for Orders and find Check Recent Order and make sure it is set to No

 

Step 16:

Scroll back to the top of the page and select
