Creating an In-Seat Delivery Location

 

This document will detail the process to setup and configure an In-Seat Delivery Location

 

Step 1:

Navigate to F&BLocation Management

Step 2:

Choose + ADD NEW LOCATION button

 

Step 3:

Enter the Location Details, an * indicates required information.\

Name*: Enter the location name

Product Type*: Choose product type, Food or Merchandise

 

Local Time*: Choose the time zone

Business End Time*: Choose the time business ends for day

Initial Location Menus: Choose at least 1

 

Step 4:

Enter the Location Identification information for External Ref ID, Merchant Account ID, Apple Pay Merchant ID, and Android Pay Merchant ID.

 

 

Step 5:

Click Create Location at the top right of the page when finished  you will be redirected to F&B Locations to view your new menu.

 

 

Step 6:

From here select the SERVICE TYPE > IN-SEAT DELIVERY

 

Step 7: 

Once selected you will be brought to the Location Details page for the Revenue Center. To adjust settings for the ENTIRE location (this will factor other menus in the location such as POS, Kiosk, Express and Quickpay) select SETTINGS and follow Step 7A below. To update just the menu settings follow the Steps outlined in Step 7B. 

 

Step 7A:

Updating settings for the ENTIRE location. Select the Settings tab at the top of the page, as show below. The settings options will populate below.

Step 7B:

Select the menu from the drop down that you wish to edit. Once selected select MENUS > SETTINGS as shown below. The settings will populate below for you to adjust.

Step 8: POS/XPEDITE

To set up an In-Seat Delivery Menu you will need to update/verify the following settings. Once you have followed the instructions in Step 7 you will update the related settings in the location details sections outlined below in Steps 8A and 8B. 

 

Step 8A: "Being Prepared"

This is where you will update the POS/Xpedite Settings. For orders to go to the BEING PREPARED tab you will want the SKIP POS SUBMISSION STATE (See below) to be "processing" -note: make sure there are no added spaces or indentations when typing "processing". Do not capitalize the first letter it should look like the below image

Step 8B: "Placed"

This is where you will update the POS/Xpedite Settings. For orders to go to the PLACED tab you will want the SKIP POS SUBMISSION STATE (See below) to be "queued" -note: make sure there are no added spaces or indentations when typing "queued". Do not capitalize the first letter it should look like the below image. You will also need to change Auto Process Xpedite Orders from YES to NO.

Step 9: STAND MENUS

Scroll down to STAND MENUS, from here you want to verify that the Delivery Orders Usage type shows "delivery" instead of "pick up." If you are not being prompted to pick a seat or see PICKUP/PICKUP  on OrderNext instead of PICKUP/DELIVERY, this setting has likely not been updated. 

Once in Stand Menus scroll to Delivery Orders Usage Type you will need to update the below fields from "pickup" to "delivery"

Step 10:

Scroll to the top of the page and select mceclip11.png to save changes
