Reporting Categories


This document will detail the creation and purpose of Reporting Categories. They separate groups of Menu Items into sections and are frequently used for reporting purposes


Step 1:

Start by navigating to F&BGlobal Items--> Scroll over on an Item and select NONE 


Select Manage Reporting Categories 



Step 2:

To create a Reporting Category choose +ADD NEW CATEGORY


Step 3:

Enter the Category Name (use to group items) and Category Display Name (groups how they’ll be displayed in


Step 4:

When all edits are complete choose CREATE to finish.


Step 5:

To add an item to a category choose None in the CATEGORY column



Step 6:

Choose the Reporting Category to assign to the item



Step 7:

Scroll to the bottom of the page and choose UPDATE ITEM CATEGORIES
