SkyTab Venue QS/Tabs Receipt Auto-Printing

SkyTab Venue POS will now enable operators to configure the POS to auto-print receipts for each transaction.  This feature is enabled at the device level and provides operators the ability to only auto-print receipts when / where needed without enabling for the entire venue or org.

Operators may also select if they wish to auto-print 1 or 2 copies of the receipt.

Auto-printing of receipts is supported for both USB and network receipt printers.  For handheld devices (Pax E700, Pax A800, etc.) auto-print can be enabled for the integrated device printer.

• • To configure, go to Hamburger menu > Configuration > Select Menu > Select Close Tab Method (if Tabs enabled) > Configure Receipt Printer > Receipt Printer Settings

    • Auto-Print will be disabled by default

    • The 'Print 2 Copies' option will be activated after enabling Auto-Print

    • The Auto-Print configuration will persist until the POS app data is cleared

  • The user can select whether to auto-print 1 or 2 copies of the receipt

  • Existing functionality of manual receipt printing will remain intact regardless of the Auto-Print configuration
