F&B Gratuity

Guests are able to add gratuity to their order during the checkout flow.  This is now available for POS, Kiosk, and Mobile orders.  When the gratuity feature is enabled, the user will be presented with a gratuity selector during checkout that will allow them to select no tip, 10%, 15%, 20%, or enter a custom amount.

The gratuity feature can be enabled for all Revenue Centers (RvCs) and menus for your venue, or individual menus. This allows you to customize which menus and service types for which to allow users to add gratuity.

 

To enable this feature at the venue level:

1. In Canopy, go to F&B > Venue Settings

2. Scroll down to Main Settings and expand the Order Options section

3. Set "Provide tip suggestions" setting to Yes

4. Tap "Update All Settings" at the bottom of the page

To enable gratuity feature at the RvC or menu level: 

1. In Canopy, go to F&B > Locations

2. Tap on the service type name of the RvC to update

For all menus in the RvC:

3. Tap the settings tab and follow steps 2-4 above

For a single menu in the RvC:

3. From the drop-down, select the service type of the menu to update

4. Tap "Menus"

5. From the drop-down, select the menu to update

6. Tap the settings tab and follow steps 2-4 above
