Creating a Runner Account

Step 1 - Create a Runner Role

  1. Go to Accounts > Roles
  2. Click New Role
  3. Enter Runner as the role name
  4. Click permissions
  5. Expand Food & Beverage
  6. Check edit for the Runner permission
  7. Click Save Role

Step 2 - Create Runner Account

  1. Go to Accounts > Roles
  2. Click create User
  3. Enter a first name (i.e. Runner1) & last name (i.e. Magic)
  4. Select the correct timezone
  5. Enter an email address (it doesn't need to be a real one - i.e. runner1_magic@ordernext.com)
  6. Select the correct organization, venue, & location
  7. Select Runner as the role
  8. Click save
  9. On the all accounts page, search for the runner role
  10. Click Force Accept invite
  11. Click the account name
  12. Check choose password
  13. Enter a password, which must contain at least 1 upper case, 1 digit, and at least 8 characters (i.e. Runner111)
  14. Click Save
  15. Repeat for the number of Runner accounts needed
