Quick Guide to Canopy for managing events 

Open the Services

  • F&B Venue Settings-->Turn Service Green-->Update
  • OR
  • F&B Locations-->Click on the right column--> Turn Green for each
  • Turn Auto Wait Time to Green for Delivery

Watch Data

  • Watch for any numbers getting big on the dashboard
  • Watch the Canopy Orders page for orders that have been open for a while
  • Communicate with the Location if needed

Adjust menu item across all locations

  • F&B Global Items-->Turn Yellow/Red-->Update
  • Be Careful: Turning Red will remove items from Delivery orders and cancel Express Orders

Turn item off/on in a Location

  • F&B Locations-->Middle Column for Menu-->Item Yellow/Green-->Update

Turn Warning On/Off

  • Warning goes on at the wait warning threshold
  • F&B Locations-->Click Right Side-->Wait Warning On/Off-->Update

Turn Location On/Off

  • F&B Locations-->Click Right Side for Availability-->Yellow/Green-->Update

Turn alcohol yellow (no new orders)

  • F&B Venue Settings-->Alcohol Yellow-->Update

Turn alcohol red (cancels orders with alcohol)

  • F&B Venue Settings-->Alcohol Red-->Update
  • Cancels Express Orders with alcohol
  • Removes alcohol from Delivery orders

Turning an item RED

  • BE CAREFUL: Cancels all Express Orders with that item
  • F&B Locations-->Middle Column for Menu-->Item Red-->Update

Turning a stand RED

  • BE CAREFUL/LAST RESORT
  • Cancels all orders for that stand (don’t do it unless stand is permanently closing or at the end of the evening to purposely cancel orders)
  • F&B Locations-->Click Right Side for Availability-->Red-->Update

Turn services off

  • F&B Venue Settings-->Turn Service Green-->Update
  • OR
  • F&B Locations-->Click on the right column--> Turn Green for each
 

Close Remaining orders

  • Cancel/Refund orders in the POS and it flows to the Refund app
