VenueNext Hardware Registration Guide

Description: This guide will cover how to manually register hardware per singular unit or in bulk, and explain how to deregister a workstation. If you have any questions, please contact support.

 

Single Unit Registration

  1. From the workstation, launch the VenueNext App.
  2. A QR code will appear. Scan the QR code with your phone and open the webpage to begin the registration process.


  3. Log in to Canopy. If you are unsure of your login, please reach contact support.


  4. Once logged in, select your Organization and Venue. Note: If you have multiple venues, please ensure to choose the home location for this device.


  5. Click Register.
  6. Go back to the workstation and click Done.

 

Bulk Unit Registration

  1. Navigate to your device webpage by copying and pasting this URL into your browser, and replace 'instancename' with your venue's Instance Name:
    instancename-devices.ordernext.com
    If you're unsure of your instance name or are having trouble accessing this page, please contact support.
  2. Under the Devices section, select Hardware.
    You'll be able to view a list of your Registered and Pending (waiting to be registered) devices.


  3. From your list of Pending devices, select all devices you wish to register by clicking the checkbox next to each Device ID and click Register.
  4. All of the selected devices will now be registered and moved to the Registered list.

Deregister & Re-Register Devices

  1. Navigate to your Device webpage by copying and pasting this URL into your browser, and replace 'instancename' with your venue's Instance Name:
    instancename-devices.ordernext.com
    If you're unsure of your instance name or are having trouble accessing this page, please contact support.
  2. Under the Devices section, select Hardware.



  3. From your list of Registered devices, select all the devices you wish to deregister by clicking the checkbox next to each Device ID and click Deregister.


  4. Confirm that you wish to deregister the devices by clicking OK.


  5. If needed, you can now re-register any of the devices to another venue by following the steps outlined earlier in this guide.
