TIP REPORT | NEW DATANOW TILE 

The new Tip Report tile is located in the F&B Sales tab.

This new report gives an all encompassing look into tips by Device ID, Employee & Location for all Service Types. Please be aware that non POS Service Type orders will not have an employee attached so the Employee field will return a blank value.

 

Depending on your venue’s SOP, we have provided the Locations for which non POS Service Type orders have tips. From here, you can allot tip amounts by employee.

 

PULLING TIPS FOR ALL SERVICE TYPES 

  1. Log into DataNow
  2. Go to F&B Sales Tab
  3. Input the Calendar Date for the event in question
  4. Do not click the blue refresh icon
  5. Scroll down to the Tip Report tile
    1. Click on the three dots in the upper right hand corner of the tile
    2. Click Download
    3. This report will allow you to report on tips for all Service by Employee Name, Device ID & Location
  6. If there are employees using multiple devices, or operating in different locations on the same day, these employees will appear on multiple lines in the reporting. In these instances, it might be necessary to create a Pivot Table to sum the total amount of tips per employee.
