Amazon Just Walk Out Revenue Center Setup

Amazon Just Walk Out (JWO) is an autonomous retail solution that supports VenueNext's mobile wallet QR code for location entry, discounts and payments.

JWO locations, menus, items and discounts are setup just like a conventional Revenue Center however the following 10 guidelines must be adhered to:

Location Configuration

1. Create a distinct Autonomous Menu Model for each physical JWO location
2. Enter the External Ref ID as “Org Name - External Ref ID” that is provided by Amazon to enable mobile wallet QR code payments. Example:

   • kezarstadium - 1234567

3. Include “JWO” at the end of the name to aid in reporting. Example:

   • Section A Grab n' Go - JWO

4. Turn the visibility off to prevent the location from appearing in the mobile ordering menus list
5. Amazon Merchant must be set on the location
6. Set “Leading Order Number Text” to  JWO

Menu Items 

1. It is imperative that all items sold at JWO locations are included in the menu and that menu items product_skus identically match the item IDs in Amazon’s system (including leading zeros), to successfully charge a mobile wallet for a “cart”.

SKU Audit

1. Clients should pull the Catalog Report from JWO. 
2. Clients should pull the Venue Configuration Report in DataNow. The report includes filters for location, item, price, and SKU.
3. Clients should verify SKUs in VN match IDs in JWO.
