Loyalty App

New Features & Enhancements

  • Loyalty App will now hide all mention of “instances” if they have not been enabled for an organization

    • If ‘Instances’ are enabled for your organization:

      • Upload templates WILL include instance column.

      • Account list WILL include instance column.

      • Account drawer WILL display instance name.

      • If a user uploads a template WITHOUT an instance column or the values are empty, Loyalty App will display a red error specifying the exact issue with your template.

    • If ‘Instances’ are disabled for your organization:

      • Upload templates WILL NOT include instance column.

      • Account list WILL NOT include instance column.

      • Account drawer WILL NOT display instance name.

      • If a user uploads a template WITH an instance column, Loyalty App will display a red error specifying the exact issue with your template.

  • Users who upload Affiliations and/or Promotions through the Loyalty App will be unable to ‘double-up’ Affiliations and/or Promotions. The newest Affiliations and/or Promotions will be created and the old Affiliations and/or Promotions will be deleted.

    • For example: Account X already has the ‘Platinum’ affiliation with 7/20/23 as the expiration date. A user uploads affiliations and assigns Account X with the ‘Platinum’ affiliation with 9/25/23 as the expiration date.

      • ‘Platinum’ affiliation with 7/20/23 as the expiration date will be DELETED.

      • ‘Platinum’ affiliation with 9/25/23 as the expiration date will be CREATED.

    • Note: This will only occur if the same Affiliation or Promotion exists on the account. Users can still apply multiple different Affiliations and/or Promotions to one account.

  • Updated the page selector at the bottom of the account list to allow users to jump forward multiple pages.

 

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the Affiliations section within an account would display when Affiliations have not been configured for the organization.

  • Fixed an issue where the “Exp Date” label would not display on expiration date fields.

  • A % service charge can now be added to POS orders

  • The available list of manual discounts will now only include those applicable to the menu being ordered from

  • The UI for menu configuration has been improved

  • The “Split” button will now always appear in the cart

  • The UI for applying manual discounts has been improved

    • The “Add Discount” button will now appear directly under cart items if there are available discounts for the menu

    • Applied discounts will now appear under cart items and can be removed from the cart

  • Prevent devices from being registered with a UUID instead of the Device ID
